Insomnia is a very common symptom of imbalance between the Yin Qi and Yang Qi. Here are 3 Yin Yoga poses that can help. Here are 7 yin poses that can help.

1Childspose

Simple, yet effective. Child’s Pose turns us inward and calms the heart. It also provides us with a way to block the outside world out. After a stressful day, nothing is better than turning inwards and focusing only on you and your needs.

Traditionally, a Yin version of Child’s Pose is held with the knees together and arms down by your sides. You can rest your forehead on the ground, a block, or drape your torso over a bolster and allow yourself to drip into a deep slumber with one cheek on the mat.

stay for 3-5 minutes.

2 Caterpillar

The forward folds help turn the attention of the mind inward immediately. This will shift mental focus from the external, busy world to a more quiet internal landscape in order to prepare for deep sleep. And the entire back side of the body gets a stretch here, including the hamstrings, low back, rhomboids, shoulders, and entire spine.
